ROAD CYCLING & AUTOMOBILES: Can’t we all just get along!!!

The nauseous feeling has finally left my stomach this morning. Last night I watched a car hit a friend and fellow cyclist. The car was making a right turn into traffic and did not see Luke coming down off of a hill descent. The car inched out just enough to T-bone Luke and send him skidding and then tumbling down the street. The sound of the impact and then Luke’s screams froze me in fear.

The Tour de France: Georg and George! Age before beauty.

This past weekend of racing in the Pyrenees was absolutely incredible. Saturday and Sunday consisted of hot temperatures and grueling climbs through the spectacular Pyrenees Mountains.
Each climb is categorized, from Category 4 (the easiest) to hors categorie, or beyond categorization, the hardest.
George Totschnig (Gerolsteiner) and George Hincapie (Discovery) proved to the world that they are in their prime. Both of these riders have been pro since 1994 and have never won a stage in the Tour de France.
